Online shop

“The store that extends the shop.”

A branch of red gypsophila laid in the dark against an iPhone showing the Rieder Fleurs online shop, bouquets on the home page

The problem

Selling fresh flowers online: a perishable product, bespoke arrangements, local deliveries, a long way from standard e-commerce.

The trigger

Launched during the pandemic, when shops had to close: an online store was needed, fast. PrestaShop as a proven foundation, shaped around the florist’s craft rather than the reverse.

The result

A store that extends the shop: click & collect and zone-based delivery, in step with the seasons and the holiday rushes. Run day to day by the team itself. Online ever since, and thriving. So is the partnership.

The making

Role

Integration, development, data handling and team training.

Stack

PrestaShop, shaped to the florist’s trade (click & collect, zone-priced delivery).

Constraints

A perishable, seasonal product, bespoke arrangements, local zone deliveries, holiday peaks, and the whole thing built in record time.
